  * 4 steps
    * 1. Identify what you want to learn
    * 2. Once you feel comfortable with material try to teach it to someone else
    * 3. Return to your source material whenever you come across an element you have difficulty to explain in detail
    * 4. Rewrite your notes until you reach a level of granularity that seems too basic

  * Misc:
    * Dissecting and simplifying the material until it can be understood by a child
    * Teach the topic to someone who can give feedback
