  • 1. Identify what you want to learn
  • 2. Once you feel comfortable with material try to teach it to someone else
  • 3. Return to your source material whenever you come across an element you have difficulty to explain in detail
  • 4. Rewrite your notes until you reach a level of granularity that seems too basic

  • Dissecting and simplifying the material until it can be understood by a child
  • Teach the topic to someone who can give feedback
