Mail Server

The mail server installation on relay.avril.work is administrated by the web application “Postfixadmin”: https://postfixadmin.avril.work/public

• Adding domains
• Adding mailboxes
• etc.

To add new mail account to Gmail:

• use POP3 and port 995 (SSL!)
  • because Gmail don't use IMAP to fetch mails from other accounts

# open mysql
# see mysql-domains.cf for password
mysql -u vmail -p

-- use vmail database
USE vmail;
 
-- with id autoincrement
INSERT INTO domains (DOMAIN) VALUES ('glomus-gps.de');
 
-- with id autoincrement
INSERT INTO users (username,DOMAIN,password) VALUES ('v.kalaschnikow','glomus-gps.de', '$6$orY5QQ4i47mK3l29$TjBBxdeRa1cTtmwQib0lowgzAUrCbWlpu9Xae7nVReGS4ICt0EEk6wkskgvodmLuTBvTgFL603v82g8a2crS2/');
 
-- with id autoincrement
INSERT INTO aliases (SOURCE,destination) VALUES ('info@glomus-gps.de','v.kalaschnikow@glomus-gps.de');

Then exit from mysql and reload the new configuration:

exit
 
# after that don't forget to call postmap 
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual/mysql-domains.cf
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual/mysql-aliases.cf
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual/mysql-maps.cf
 
# reload postfix configuration
postfix reload
 
# and restart postfix
service postfix restart
